New Films: "Home at the End of the World" & "Testosterone"

I enjoyed "Home at the End of the World," but people are going to be a little disappointed by Colin Farrell. He plays a shy tenative man, who is shattered by losing his entire family early in life. The film is a mood piece and sadly, as much as Colin tries, he always seems to be underplaying a part that might have been better assigned to someone else. Colin does deserve a lot of credit for taking the part, more people will see this very decent, thoughtful movie. Wish they had kept in the full frontal nudity though. I saw the flick a few days ago and still can not get it out of my mind, which is a high complement.

 

Full frontal does not help "Testosterone," an okay movie, if you can forgive the truly awful acting of Antonio Sabato, Jr. I enjoyed the scene set in Argentina (most of the movie), but as to Sabato's cock, blink and you will miss it.
