Val Kilmer taking on the role of Moses

I recently read that Val Kilmer will be playing the role of Moses in a live production version " The Ten Commandments ". The play is set to open to audiences in Los Angeles. After the Southern California debut, the producers plan on taking the show nationwide in a limited run. With all the roles Val Kilmer has played over the years. I personally don't know what to think and I'm reminded of when Mr Kilmer took over the role of Batman from Michael Keaton and overall for the most part a lot of people felt it was a let down and off course George Clooney took bigger heat. Now with Val Kilmer taking the lead in " Ten Commandments ", there is bound to be a comparison with Charlton Heston. Does anybody have any thoughts on the concept of Val Kilmer as Moses.

Well, he's certainly a more fuckable Moses than La Heston was. And less likely to end up in a Michael Moore documentary!
