An escort that I want to see will be in the NYC area at the end of February. Neither of us can host so I will need a hotel room for the night. Can I get some recommendations for a clean, modern , reasonably priced hotel where 2 men can indulge in passionate lovemaking and/or go at it like sweating rutting animals all night long?

What part of the city and what is "reasonably priced" to you? Ballpark

Just got back from NYC and stayed at The Washington Square Hotel. Small, perfect location and easy on the budget. breakfast is included and they have a bar/lounge and restaurant with excellent, reasonably priced food. Lamb sliders...Yum!

Check Brooklyn Red Hook area. Also look at Priceline for either the auction or express deals. If you do either on Priceline check the hotels website to make sure you got the lowest price. I booked a hotel through PL and checked the hotels site and the hotels site was lower. I brought it to PL's attention and they refunded me the difference plus gave me a 20% code for a future booking.

Thanks guys. I would like to keep it under $200 before all the taxes, but definitely don't want a dump. Something with a cool vibe would be awesome but I am not kidding myself with my budget

If its not before or during valentines day you should be OK.

That's gonna be hard, Mattr! Considering your criteria, if you are willing to meet in Brooklyn, I really like the Nu Hotel in Brooklyn. Also, it is within 1 block of great eateries in Cobble Hill. That hotel requires key access to use the lift. Typically rate will include free breakfast. If you really want Manhattan, you may need to go for a no frills hotel (no gym, restaurant). Try: 70 Park Ave Hotel. No key access issues, great location, LGBT friendly staff. Free wine hour.

Believe it or not, Friday's may be better bc during the week, rates spike due to biz travel. Just shop/compare.

If you join Kimpton's Karma Rewards program, you will have access to deals that will often bring you the rates you desire during this period ($150 to 199/night). Winter rates/discounts are much better than summer. I haven't been in any of their NY hotels, but they're boutique hotels in convenient locations with complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning and a wine-tasting hour in the afternoon. So yeah, cool vibe.

You might also want to check out Pod 39/Pod 54. Their rooms are smaller and more basic, the clientele tends to be young, and the rates fluctuate even more than Kimpton, but there are times when a double or queen is available for around $100/night. Also possibly a cool vibe, depending on your definition.

I looked at The Klimpton and the NU and both look nice... I'll see if Karma rewards will bring the rate down a bit at The Klimpton. I would want a minimum of a Queen bed and a shower big enough for two. Has anyone tried The Out?

Never stayed at The Out, but looks pretty modern on the outside, conveniently located. I believe XL (gay bar/lounge) is adjacent or in the same premises? Heard it can get noisy, but that might actually serve as buffer for whatever happens in your room. :) Cop station is next door too in case you want a man in uniform and CVS pharmacy is on the other side. ;)

QTR is right about the discounted rates with Kimpton. If you opt for 70 park (most affordable of the 4 Kimptons in NYC), join Kimpton Karma Rewards before you make the reservation and you may get discounts via email. Enjoy NYC!
