Hotels in Miami

Howdy there! I think I am going to be going to Miami end of July early August and am having a dickens of a time finding a hotel. I kind of like The Palms but since I do not know the area at all I am not sure. I would like to try to find a hotel near the gar clubs and the American Airlines arena if at all possible. Is all I need is the names I can look up the rest of the info from there.

Across Ocean Dr. from the gay beach. A block and a half above the Versace mansion. Hip superfriendly and helpful staff. Same goes for the onsite restaurant staff. Near Lincoln Road, walking distance to the clubs.

I would recommend the Resort I used to live in. The Mirador. They have guest 1 bedroom Suites that are very, very nice. and only 118.00 per night.

I stayed at The Chesterfield Hotel on Collins Ave. in South Beach last month and LOVED it. A clean boutique hotel, contemporary design that's very hip and it caters to a young crowd. My client booked in on Priceline for cheap. The coolest feature are the mirrored open concrete bathrooms with rain showers--lots of fun! The bar has free drinks for guests at happy hour. It is close to the beach and ocean drive.
