Yes, some fans in Baton Rouge spent much of Saturday grilling, and, one can only expect, consuming, whole alligators.

If they're eating the gator whats the big deal? No different than killing a pig and putting it on the spit. I don't think I've had gator but I would try it.

Alligator's quite nice. I have some in my freezer. Tastes like chicken, with consistency more like prawns. I wish I could be tailgaiting in Louisiana...
