It was the part where I had said her first husband approved of the song choice. I too had wondered about his feelings at first, but he was totally fine about the choice.

 

Oh thanks-I didn't see that it was actually bolded in your post. So I didn't know what Fresh was referring too. I hadn't thought about the actual meaning of the song in relation to the fact that an ex-spouse might be at the wedding. Still I guess you might be able to consider the song in the light of each different love being fresh and new. She obviously still has feelings for your friend.
