It's Jason Crystal. All the pix in the ad are of different guys.

Jason Crystal was a porn actor who also escorted about 3 to 5 years ago. He was at least part Asian. He showed up on a lot of different online porn sites usually I think with different names. I also think I remember he started getting a bad reputation, but I don't know why. He may have had a bad reputation as an escort too.

 

After he disappeared from the scene, there started appearing escort ads with a lot of similarities in them which many of us were sure were fake as they looked to good too be true. I'm not sure if I should enumerate the similarities or not -some people on the Forum will say we shouldn't as that just alerts the scammers we are on to them and make them change their modus operandi. Of course the person who used to complain most about this is on a long Forum Time-Out (?permanent).

 

While I've always agreed that certain of the ads look too good to be true and are most likely fake, there are some Forum Members who avow that these ads are all put up by one person. And that person is the porn actor/escort formerly known as Jason Crystal. Sometimes there are claims that a certain ad is a Jason Crystal ad when it doesn't seem to me to follow the 'recognized' pattern. But it could be I am not sharp enough to recognize the pattern in these cases. Unfortunately I don't remember anyone ever reporting back either here or in the Reviews that they actually met one of the escorts from a presumed Jason Crystal ad to find out whether

 

#1. The guy was for real.

 

#2. The ad was a scam and put up by Jason Crystal.

 

Or

 

#3. The ad is a scam but the scammer isn't Jason Crystal.

And now with Rentboy gone Jason has moved him scam to Rentmen. I was wondering how long it would take for one of his fake ads to pop up.

Thanks for the warnings. It really is a shame that a few true "hustlers" out there make us so wary. Caveat emptor.
