It's probably still in your browser's cache. Can you get any deeper into it than the main page?

Hmmm, I am in florida. works just fine for me, i can seach the whole site, no issues,

 

only times out if i try rentmen.com but the default.aspx link works fine.

I'm in Florida also, and I've cleared my cache/cookies/history, rebooted etc, and still nothing. No big deal at this point, I'll try again tomorrow.

well for some reason i can access it all, i just looked at a location where i know i have never looked before, Walla Walla in WA,

yes, I accessed rentboy last night around 11pm. Not a cache either. Some ads had been edited. There were changes in the Atlanta listings since I saw it on Tuesday. Many ads had been deleted. NYC was down to the low 300s. I also viewed listings in DC, Chicago, LA, etc.

 

I knew it would be for the last time. I can no longer access it.

 

Oh....and I did not send a message to any of the listings.

Ahh Rentboy, we hardly knew ye-well we did know it. But you understand my (poetic) melancholy for things past and not likely to return. It's like the passing of the Elves in LOTR. We have seen the ending of the Third Age with the passing of Rentboy. In those now just past days there were signs and wonders not likely to occur again. Now we are in the beginning of a new period-the Fourth Age- with the growing ascendancy of Rentmen. Yet we still have nostalgia for things recently past but also have a bright hope for the future aborning in front of us.

It's a strange feeling, though, I admit, that all of a sudden it's gone. I would tend to "window shop" more than buy, lol, but like many (non-escort) sites I visit on a regular basis, checking in to take note of the ads on Rentboy was habitual. I'm not sure if I'm that sad that it's gone, just that I was so used to checking it out, that it's hard to get used to NOT doing it.

 

Websites come and go all the time. So be it.
