He didn't age well.

 

As I recall, he looks were more than presentable for his age -- wrinkled, yes, but not to the extent of, say, Robert Redford or the Rolling Stones -- until the illness that forced his resignation at a not-so-young age, I might add. So it wasn't that he didn't age well but that his illness devastated his looks. Is that really a position you want to defend?

I am the exact same age as Mick Jagger. We will both be 72-years ago in two weeks. Jagger has aged facially, but not so much in other areas. Could Fidal Castro have performed arena show after arena show for months at a time with few days off in his early 70s? Probably not, because that was not his thing. Have we seen Castro that often in public over the years to really jusge whether or not he has aged well? My answer would be no.
