I know there was a thread about this Youtube series a while back, however a couple weeks ago when I discovered Elias' Story I couldn't stop watching it. Each episode runs from as short as 3 minutes to as long as 15-20 minutes. There are over 300 episodes and I got through them in a weekend. The gay story line centers on a cute high school twink named Elias who is bullied by jocks (of course). What's different in this story is that Elias doesn't back down from the bullies and gives them everything they give him right back. It's also interesting that, except for the jocks, most people accept Elias' homosexuality. I guess it's really not surprising that the biggest bigot, Lari, ends up falling for Elias. In HIS world most the people close to him hate gays. Once their relationship gets going we see pretty much the same drama with them that we see with heterosexual couples. During the ups and downs between Elias and Lari, a hot blonde hunk enters the picture and a triangle is created.

I guess there's nothing special about the story line, but to me it's the fact it's a serious story based on gay characters. The gays don't just show up for a short scene here and a short scene there. They ARE the main story. For the most part, the story treats the gay relationships as being very normal. As I watched I kept wondering how wonderful it would have been if when I was young having relationships with other boys would have been the norm.

Someone mentioned that he thought the acting was bad, but I had no complaints. It was better than anything I've seen with the same subject matter. In fact, there is another web series (can't remember the name) that features a gay story line. I don't know if it's from South America or Europe, but I think they are speaking some kind of Spanish. Anyway, the stars are two gorgeous, hunks who try to have a relationship. The show is worth watching simply to take in the gay eye candy, especially the curly, black haired, soccer player. However, they don't show much action beyond a little kissing. In Elias' Story there's A LITTLE more rolling around in bed as well as hugging and kissing.
