Into a mirror, I stare at last, with deep reflection on my past.

An entire man at last I see; a mirror revealing all of me.

Finally alive. Vibrant. Whole; yet still filled with much turmoil.

But thus my heart with every beat, still finds itself incomplete

For far away in the Land of Truth, my essence is captured by a youth.

Hair as dark as a midnight storm, hazel eyes reveal a soul that's warm.

The rise and fall of gentle breath, as his head lay upon my chest.

His smile, soothing like a summer breeze; his tender touch does much to please.

He fills me so with much desire, capturing my heart...like moth to fire.

And so a journey I must take, even though my heart may break.

For my shadow prince it seems; is nothing but a wistful dream.

Real enough is he, you see. But would he surrender his heart...to me?

I pray that when the dawn grows nigh, my shadow prince be by my side.

The suns first light will surely tell, if my desires are ethereal.

With sullen heart; my chilled bones, kneeling on our Nation's stone

Tears running, hot and quick, bespattered on white marble slick.

A distinct possibility of what the future holds for me, by try I will and go I must

To quench my burning wanderlust. My life...is thus.
