I despise guys that take PreP aka Truvada are called Truvada whores

I definitely and whole heartily believe that using Truvada as PreP for HIV prevention is a responsible action by ANY gay man. A few months ago I read about a movement that is using the term "Truvada whore" to represent sort of " I'm out and proud for taking Truvada". Let's be realistic that barebacking is happening actually more now than believed and guys are taking responsibility by using PreP. I know I'm in an escort site but even with escorts, I wouldn't call them or refer to them as such if they're taking Truvada. I personally hate the word "whore" it has demeaning and degrading connotations. Insurers are now starting to cover Truvada as PreP but it will be pathetic that the barrier - or the stigma - that you need to be a "whore" to take it ...is irresponsible and stigmatizing.

I have a twitter account and this bareback gay porn actor whose first name is one of the primary colors and took a mason JAR - full to the top of strangers cum( read it was at least 1000 loads) in one of his vids poured into his raw gaping asshole. Mind you he was promoting that film and that scene wearing a blue "Truvada whore" t-shirt. It bothered me immensely so I tweeted him saying that t-shirt associated with video and scene was stigmatizing to those men who take it. His response?...he told me "fuck off faggot, you know nothing faggot!" I laughed it off.

Anyways this is my opinion on this subject, feel free to share yours, I will definitely and decently respect it LOL
