Liquid Silk Lube

This week I came across a great find: Liquid Silk intimate lubricant. I think this will become quickly my favorite lube.

 

Has any of you tried it and what did you think about it?

Liquid Silk is another hybrid (water/silicone) lube that I've tried before. It's not my preference but it's a good lube. Some drawbacks, which may or may not bother users on this forum, are that it contains parabens (possible health concerns) and it has an awful taste. The one aspect I didn't care for was that it does tend to get a little sticky feeling, despite being a hybrid.

 

Edit: I forgot to mention that this particular lube does react with silicone based toys so you should not use them together. Not all silicone or hybrid lubes will react.

I've been using Liquid Silk since I lived in the UK, where it's made. Not cheap in Canada, but well worth it. I love the silky smooth consistency. I agree that it tastes vile, but I find it pleasantly greasy, rather than sticky. I keep a bottle handy by the massage table for Happy Endings and it is also great for fucking.

Thank you, Adriano. I noticed that Liquid Silk personal lubricant is also available nationwide at CVS pharmacies in the "feminine care" aisle (and not in the section where all other lubes and condoms are) ... in case someone was looking for it in the store.

I see your link redirects to different types of Liquid Silk.

We are talking about the Liquid Silk (white color) not the Liquid Silk Maximus, in case you were wondering.

Liquid Silk Maximus is the grappa of lubes. It's absolutely horrible tasting. Spunk (the lube, not the actual... stuff) doesn't have a taste really. It's pretty similar to LS, and is a hybrid. I like to use it and then add a little water-based lube because I find that pure silicone is too "grabby" on rubbers.

Maximus is a good water based lube in terms of performance, but I agree, the taste is also absolutely foul. As far as hybrid lubes go, Spunk lube is my favorite.
