Interest in FTMs? Experiences/Suggestions?

Hello, Gents!!

 

My name is Harkin, and I'm a trans guy (female-to-male/transgender guy) escort based in LA. I have scoured these forums for discussions relating to trans men, but couldn't find any. I would be super appreciative if I could get some feedback/advice from the lovely men here: do you have have any interest in booking an FTM escort? How might he make your experience as smooth and wonderful as possible, and what (if any) hesitations or concerns might you have?

 

Some context- I've been a top-rated and well-reviewed escort for about 4 years while marketing myself as female, but after a year on testosterone, that's not an option for much longer! I love men, sex, and this fabulous hobby, and can't imagine giving up escorting just because I've transitioned. I'm realizing I'll basically have to carve out the FTM escort market in SoCal, as there isn't already an established one like in SF/Oakland. I'd be very grateful for your input and suggestions, and I'd love to know if anyone here has had any experiences they're comfortable relating!

I comend your bravery and openness in reaching out to us here. I have many friends who are transgendered so I understand the challenges. I congratulate you on your transition. LA can be a tough market. I recomend maybe putting out some ads in different city's and see what happens, I call them satellite ads. There is a very niche market for FTM. I'm not exactly sure if gay men might be your right target audience, but I do know that there are many curious clients or special interest ones that will be interested. I suggest putting up an ad in NYC and seeing what happens that's a good market for you. Good luck on your journey.

Due to financial challenges, I haven't been hiring a lot lately, and I've had no direct experiences with FTM's but there are

certainly a couple I've seen that I'm sure I would have a terrific time with.

I'm open to touring if LA doesn't yield enough interest. @Honcho, thanks for cluing me into that thread, much appreciated. Echoing the last poster in that thread, I wouldn't be surprised if my clientele were more bisexual/pansexual, although I've garnered lots of interest/a few non-pro dates from gay man on Grindr; I guess the challenge will be translating interest into market share, lol.

@Danny- Hello! I am not advertising thus far but plan to within a month or so. I'll be advertising on Rentboy and will continue to advertise on The Erotic Review (hopefully here as well!).
