Prostitution Arrests

Supposedly one of the largest prostitution busts ever. Our crazy sheriff strikes again. I can't help but notice that working boys rarely get targeted in this big sweeps. While I know guys do get arrested, it rarely seems to make the news. Certainly not headlines.

 

While I personally think our law enforcement dollars can be better spent, I also don't face the need for a periodic re-election. This sure seems like it contains an element of grandstanding. Arresting a 60 year old woman seems extreme. Arresting 72 people in one series of related raids is a very large sweep.

 

If our AZ contingent didn't see this, do please take note. Not wanting to have to go bail anyone out...
