On the one-year anniversary of the first time I hired, I did the math in my head (7 guys, 9 times, mostly for 2- or 3-hour in-calls at their location) and it added up to an annual expenditure of a little under $5,000 (fees, tips, a few small gifts) for The Best Little Hobby in the World. We each have different things to consider (finances, relationships, location, etc.) and there must be dramatic differences in what we spend … anyone else want to share?
