I understand your comments, Unicorn. Remember we only have 2 posts for imagooddog. There may be much more information that we do not know.

I do have some person comments. I thought from imagooddog's first post, there was too much information from others, too soon, about clinical trials. And no doctor or specialist is so good, even with 35 people in the waiting room, that I would wave a second opinion.

I should have posted a little more information about the condition. I did have cataract surgery on both eyes several years ago.

The retina scan that the doctor did showed that the membrane on the back of the retina is pulling away from the retina and is causing

a "peak" pulling away. If that peak continues to get larger it will cause a hole in the retina and can lead to bleeding. He needs to sever the membrane and

remove the peak, replacing it with a gas bubble until the retina heals, hence he recommends sleeping on my stomach and not driving

for 2 weeks. All of this is my understanding from what the doctor says. And NO, this is not experimental in any way. This doctor is

very highly recommended nationwide and is one of the very few in my deep south state and I am not able to travel to other states.

imagooddog, thanks for clearing up several issues. I am probably most cercerned because of eye problems myself, but so far so good with me. Please continue to let us know how you are doing. And best wishes for tomorrow (Friday).
