The media is abuzz with the story of a family honored last week at the 6th Annual Harvey Milk Diversity breakfast. I do not profess to be well-educated on transgender issues, but this story is a good place to learn more. The Whittington family has a five year old boy, and how he got to be a boy is an interesting tale.
