I saw this revival of a 1981 Christopher Durang play last night at The Becket on West 42nd St. I loved it! It's a farce, expertly acted and directed. I don't know how long it will be running, but I highly recommend it to all.

We've often mentioned here how interesting it is to see the different takes that posters have on various shows. I absolutely hated the silly sophomoric humor of Beyond Therapy and left at intermission.

The NY Daily News gave Beyond Therapy two stars, the Post one and 1/2. The Post says it is "beyond saving."

And the NY Times says: This Actors Company Theater production, directed by Scott Alan Evans, has a few nice performances and a sleek set (by Thomas Cariello), but it doesn’t make much of a case for Mr. Durang’s play, which hasn’t worn well as a romantic comedy or as a satire on therapy culture.
