Damn. I already miss LBT (our master of extra curricula activities). Just a couple of questions: 1.) Any idea timeframe for Spurline on Friday? I'm heading out to Idyllwild with a buddy in the pm and want to leave time to grab something to eat and arrive for the official meet and greet. 2.) In the past, there was always a "play party" at Helios on Saturday night later after the dinner. No info on their site and wondered if anyone had any info.

I really appreciate the updates and weather reports from our boots.......uh...errrr......flip flops.....on the ground in paradise. I definitely better pack some lotion to protect my winter-white skin from the desert rays. :-)

I swear that Wayne and I are not usually this flaky.

 

Having said that, our on again/off again status is now officially set to ON. Again. :) We will be attending after all. Yay!

 

We just booked a room at Helios for Saturday and Sunday night. And we would LOVE to do the Facts of Life show. We saw it last weekend with Ace, and it was unbelievably funny. Can't wait to see it again!

I just checked the Helios website...I didn't notice last year, but they have a day pass option. The times for use (10-5) seem to coincide with the plans for Saturday. I'm not going to end up staying at the resort, but on Saturday if there's going to be some gathering before the dinner at the pool or something, then I can do that.

As I missed the Washington DC luncheon, ecause I had to attend a church memorial for a dear friend,

so do I have to miss Palm Springs for the formal Memorial at my friend's College, where he

ran the Glee Club from 1966 to 2004.

 

Sigh. Third time's the charm?

So if anyone besides sf westcoaster and myself is interested in seeing the show Ace recommended after the Saturday dinner and before the Helios party,, Please make that known so we can ask Ace about tickets.

Hey guys,

Glad to see they some of you are interested in going to see 'Facts of Life" after dinner on Sat.

I made arrangements with my friend in the show to send him a final count (via text) before 5pm.

He is offering us $10 off the walk in price of $30.. So $20 per ticket at the door. It will be cash only, as they do not take credit at the door, only for advance sales.
