Despite the many warnings on this site regarding "the Murray Hill gang," I recently decided, with my eyes open, to try one of the many Eastern Europeans who advertise on RB, just for the experience. I picked "Aaron," a twink masseur/escort whose photos were to my liking and a couple of whose tastes, as listed in his RB ad, matched mine:

His separate ad on sexymasseur.com, as found by Googling his phone number, stated that he is Polish, and this strengthened my hope that he would turn out to be different from "the Russians."

Contact was easy, as was finding his fourth-floor apartment just north of the intersection of 51st Street and 2nd Avenue. The young man who met me at the door wearing pajama bottoms was not "Aaron," but he was a smooth twink with a lovely swimmer's build and a gorgeous face. He ushered me into a room with a massage table, stripped down to skimpy briefs revealing hot views front and back, and gave me a thorough massage while I lay on my stomach. He then asked me whether I would like to turn over, and I said yes, adding that I would like him to remove his briefs. He said that would be $40 more than the agreed price of $180 for an hour's massage, and I agreed. Once I was on my back, he let me touch him, but go no further, and proceeded quickly to give me a surprisingly nice happy ending.

As I was dressing, I asked him whether he was living alone and how he had gotten into his business. He replied that he had roommates and that friends had preceded him, I asked where he was from, and he said he was from the Ukraine. Although I already knew the answer, I asked whether the photos in his ads were really his. He stated without hesitation that "none of us uses his real pictures, because we are afraid." I told him that his RB ad mentioned certain tastes that went beyond massage, and he admitted that he had never seen his ad (!) and was surprised that it would list such things.

Once again, caveat emptor. I was not unhappy, since I went in with my eyes open, the massage was more than satisfactory, and the price was right. But the ad in RB is misleading, to say the least, and I venture that this is true of almost all ads featuring young men from the republics of the former Soviet Union. One wonders: who writes the ads for these boys, and how does he benefit?

Second-hand sources tell me that the "Murray Hill Gang" consists of two Russians who set up that business. They write the ads and advertise masseurs using photographs plucked from the internet. They offer jobs to visitors/would-be immigrants from East Europe, Ukraine, Russia, other republics of the former Soviet Union who over-stay their visitor visa, don't have work permits, or otherwise can't find oner jobs. They split the income from the client in some fashion. In other words, they act like an employment agency of sorts, although probably take in some large percentage of the client income. They don't seem to harm anyone, but the biggest negative of course is that you'll never meet any of the advertised models/masseurs. I'm unfamiliar with those "added charges."

BC, my own sources tell me pretty much the same thing.

If one goes into this in the manner of Ganymede 225, there is a possibility that you will meet a somewhat handsome lithe (many will not be bodybuilders or even muscular but at least have a swimmer's body) generally bisexual or straight guys who are doing this as a way to make some money - any money - as there I little else they can do given their "legal status" in the country. Asking them for the "extras" will - f0r many - be something they are not readily willing to do without extra compensation.

If such twinks are your type, then caveat emptor and go for it; just don't expect a performance on par with the more seasoned escorts.

You said that "the price was right." I live in New York, and am used to New York prices in everything, not just massages. I think you overpaid by a lot. $180 for a massage, which is a pretty healthy fee, and then he has the nerve to ask for $40 more if you turn over? You touched him, and that was it, besides the happy ending? Believe me, Ganymede, you could have done much, much better for an hour's worth of massage for $220. Even if you liked it -- and I'm glad for you that you did -- that's too much to pay, IMHO. (But I did enjoy the information about the Russians.)

Well Ganymede.. You da man.. Glad you took one for the team and reported back. Thank you.

I am a total sucker for Euro twinks. I have been following all those ads for a couple years now and know that they are not real. But i was hoping against hope that the guys come close enough for us to overlook the underlying scam. I had hired Nikita once (his ad is no longer there) and met a guy similar to your description in Peter Cooper village. He did not charge extra for fondling though. Seems they have changed locations. There is another outlet in downtown NYC at Maiden Lane where these guys time-share.

Yelp has a lot of such ads and recently i discovered the person who uploaded the pics of one of them. Click on the link below and see the picture of David on the right of the screen. He is most likely the businessman that is running the show. Maybe we should "friend" him and get access to the real guys.

On another note, what do you guys think of this one below..is this one of those ads ?

I had no idea that Yelp had massage ads. Interesting.

On another note, the masseur guy in that second link, "Alexander", is hardly a twink.
