As I taught photography for over fifteen years I have always been acutely aware of the photographs escorts post in their ads. To me, at least, it appears that the quality of the photographs has diminished greatly over the last ten years. Even ten years ago there were guys who used awful pictures but the growing tendency to use cell phone photographs has definitely accelerated the number of poor of awful shots. When people look at photographs of themselves all they generally see is themselves. They don’t notice the disheveled background – the unmade bed, the messy bedroom, the cluttered bathroom counter, etc., etc. There are outstanding professional erotic photographs in all major cities that don’t change an arm and a leg for a photo shoot. I have always insisted on dealing with “PROFESSIONAL” escorts and I definitely judge an escort’s professionalism partly by the quality of his ad text and photographs.
