Ace, let me throw in my best wishes for your future happiness. It was indeed a pleasure to meet you in Palm Springs. From that first private dinner I arranged that you attended with your incredible client (who is SORELY missed here) and our small group, to the group dinner and pool party, you were incredible to be around. Then it was so much fun being able to surprise you when you were doing an appearance at Flex in Raleigh a couple of months later. At least I have a couple of my own private pics on my phone from that evening that I will be able to remember what a remarkable gentleman you are.

 

All the best for a happy future. But the others are right. Just because you have retired, doesn't mean you need to leave here. Your perspective and experience would certainly be valuable to us, so pop in as you can.

Thanks a lot, Lee...and all the rest of you. I'm happy to have a great reason to be retiring but also happy to have met all you great guys. Just about every one are people I'd like to be friends with in some way regardless of the arrangement. The kindness and support you have shown here demonstrates the quality and character that I have come to respect so much. I'm looking forward to this new chapter in life but will remember this one with great pride, humility and affection.
