Hustler Scene in "Gold"

Saw this in one of the festivals when it came out years ago. It's good. The staircase bit at the end is WAY contrived of course. And of course it's easier to write a prostitute who's also involved in drugs for the same reasons it is to write a "John" who's quite old, because it's what the audience has come to expect, and filmmakers generally aim low.

 

You can see more real escorting scenarios in my two favorite "hustler" films: "Boy Culture", which is rife with cliches BUT not where it's main character is concerned, and Andre Techine's (director of the wildly popular french gay movie "Wild Reeds") "I Don't Kiss." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102136/ Last I checked "I Don't Kiss" is not on Netflix, so you'll have to bring a flash drive when you come visit me :-)

 

But if you also lower your expectations, you'll enjoy this short film above, Gold.

I saw this one year's ago liked it very much! The Guy in the Fishnet Shirt played "Michael" in the Original Nikita Series. Very Goodlooking & Sexy Guy!

"Being At Home" is quite good. The fuck scene was fantastic (except of course for the VERY end of the fucking) and the emotion the rentboy displays later on in the film struck (a much younger me) as very real.
