I saw this on the news. I think it was a brilliant thing to do. Westboro has done their fair share of unspeakable damage to innocent families. I hope this hits home. Thanks BC....

I suspect it just provided them with more ammunition about the godless homosexuals; worse than godless, actually - now we're Satanists.

I tend to agree with you. The Westboro people also appear to have

psychiatric issues--very odd! Ignoring them is probably the best option, but are there

any other suggestions?

You make an interesting point, and I agree with your assessment, however for me it is more about infuriating these despicable and hateful human beings, rather than trying to be politically correct or second guessing their thought process. I don't much care how much ammunition we give them, I think that their past actions have already shown that finding some sort common ground for a conversation is a hopeless effort on our part.

BVB, I didn't mean to express disapproval. I totally agree with your last sentence - I don't see any possibility of them or those who share their beliefs accepting us as a response to anything WE do. And I don't see how they can get more irrational and hate-filled than they already are.
