I'm thinking it may be easier to find some advice on this forum than it will be to find the answers on the Facebook help page!

 

I'm taking over as admin for the Facebook page for a group I work with. I want to update the page by adding several albums with many pics, etc. However, in that process, I don't want everyone who have 'liked' the page to get constant notifications as I work thru the process. I would rather be able to do the work behind the scenes and then make a post suggesting people check out the new albums.

 

Is this as easy as changing my security to restrict all activity to "only me", then do the work, then reset the security to share with others?

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You could go to the settings page and unpublish the page for a couple of hours while you do your thing and then re-publish it when you're done.

That might work.
