This is a puzzlement

I was reading a thread in the lounge, and the phrase "well, I know his tastes are like mine..."

 

I'm confused how people exchange this sort of information. I have taken Polonius' advice to Laertes a little too much as its word:

 

Give thy thoughts no tongue

Nor any unproportioned thought his act.

Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar.

... Beware

Of entrance to a quarrel, but being in,

Bear’t that the opposed may beware of thee.

Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice;

Take each man’s censure, but reserve thy judgment.

 

So, I've learned a bit about being taciturn. I mostly lurk behind my LED screen and see what's what.

 

As an explanation: A certain Astrologer on the Forum helped me understand that I have to have an emotional / intellectual connection before sex happens.

 

My previous long-term, go-to guy [since retired, married and, at 42, very, very happy] was once a year for four years. However, we had spoken on AIM for at least five years prior to me seeing him.

My second go-to guy I've been seeing for two years. His life has been a disaster, but not of his own doing.

 

My current go to is a "private agreement": High School Football Captain, High School Hockey captain High School Lacrosse captain, ex-Army, 250, 6'4" and an absolute sweety at 25. I told him he should apply for Aaron Hernandez' job at the Patriots. he'd make a great tight end.

 

I guess I like them (a) fit; (b) handsome; © easy to speak and laugh with.

 

So Im signing in as a Poster, not as a lurker. Any suggestions for Greater Boston would be appreciated. Alternatively, Orlando A[i've tried three times to get ahold of Alec Martinez without success. Adrian Hart is great fun, but only does longer appointments.
