Having trouble figuring out how to insert pictures in posts. Not always the fastest when it comes to these technological things. Can someone give me some simple easy to follow instruction steps?

What I would like to be able to periodically do is insert individual pictures that I have stored on my computer.

Read the advice below on the FAQ page but can't find the "Click here to choose your file" button on the post forms. I am missing something or just not looking hard enough?

From FAQ page:

<<Or you can also upload an image(this option has to be enabled by the administrator) by clicking on Click here to choose your file on the post form. This will launch a remote window through which you can specify the file extension and browse your disk to select the file you wish to upload. Once the file is selected, the attachment textbox will automatically be populated with the name of your uploaded file. All files are randonmly renamed. Keep in mind that there is a size limitation to file upload.>>

The FAQ is generic to the message board software and doesn't reflect specifically what is and is not enabled at this site.

As it says about uploading image files, "this option has to be enabled by the administrator", and in the case of this site it is not enabled.

So, if you want to post links to images you will have to find some other suitable site to upload them to.

I suggest you google "hosting," and then pick one of the services listed. It's cheap. I pay $20 a year for hosting. You upload the pic from your machine to your host, which in turn "serves" the pic every time somebody here clicks on the thread in which you've posted the link to it.
