I didn't want to hijack another post, so here's yet another one. BG, can you tell me what you mean by the following?

I can't put anything on it other than something seems slightly askew and my radar is tingling. It might be nothing, but...

 

Travis is a very goodlooking young man who writes like someone much older. His picture is up one day and down the next then up again and then down again. He says he's 18 but his picture could conceivably be someone younger than that. And he hails from one of the most conservative, anti-gay states in the country.

 

It makes me wonder. It might all be on the up and up, but it makes me wonder.

BG... I have no first hand information myself, except to say that Travis has been very fun to chat with on email, and we have scratched the surface of travel together. Though not inconceivable, it would be difficult to imagine a sting operation involving air travel.

 

As I mentioned in the other thread, though, I do believe we may have some information soon, as one of our own is supposed to see him.

 

That's why we have and adore this site. In time, a folder of information will be developed, and then we can all use our best judgement.

Well, you only *talked* about it so who knows ...

 

... and, of course, in the unlikely (but still possible) event of it being the Feds with too much time on their hands then some kind of inter-state travel would just add to their fun.

 

On the whole, though, I come from the "never ascribe to malice what can be explained by incompetence" school of thinking in these matters.

 

Lets see if his ad finally reappears and stays there for a couple of weeks before jumping to too many conclusions.

I have to take issue with this, he hails from Boulder.. I'm not sure you can find a more liberal left wing city in the coutry. Certain cities may match it but none will surpass it. Denver is in between. Colorado Springs is a cesspool of hate and intolerance and it's ironic that it's only 80 miles away from Boulder, they just had an entire (just about) city council and mayoral election based on recinding same sex partnership benefits for coupled working for the city of Colorado Springs. Amendment 2 was written in COS, Focus on the Family is in COS, Will Perkens.. etc etc all from COS. I have no idea how Colorado Springs and Boulder ended up in the same state but it would be fun to move everyone from both cities into one place.. wall them all up and see if they get along any better then Israel and Palestine. I doubt they would.

 

If Travis is indeed in Boulder the only thing you would need to worry about is if Boulder lets him use enough water every day to properly clean up after appointments and from the look of his pictures that doesn't seem to be a problem with him .. yum.
