The cast is performing tomorrow evening at 11:00 at the conclusion of Splash Bar's weekly Musical Monday festivities.

I did see it with The Legendary Dave on Friday night. As expected, it was pretty bad (tiny grungy theater, a water bug scooted across the stage at one point) but we had fun later discussing all the worst elements.

Surprisingly, it didn't paint escorting in a positive light - there was one number about charging more for different options, money up front, etc. Happily at the end one escort gave up his work to be with the client he loved

and the show ended with a reprise of the awful power ballad professing undying, eternal love. Regrettably, The Legendary Dave didn't declare his undying love for me and did leave on Saturday as scheduled.

Maybe, just maybe, --hard to say since I don't know you--but maybe it was the Legendary Dave's loss.

I saw it tonight (Friday), and we liked it, as did the rest of the audience. Yes, the theater was very warm, and there isn't much space between rows. But it was professionally done, good singing and dancing, and lots of fun. Not seamy, not tawdry, and no one took himself too seriously. Just a string of songs, no plot, about 90 minutes, including intermission. No nudity, and no one even takes his shirt off until the second act.

Maybe Cash4Trash was expecting too much?
