Sorry I wont be here but you guys have a blast for me.

 

Many of you know that some of the other working guys are also doing the AIDSLIFECYCLE which is why I am posting this video.

I was wondering do you guarantee a full and unconditional confidentiality to people who have made donations (some on several occasions) to sponsor your Ride? Unfortunately, I have found out that my personal information has been compromised twice in the past when I have made donations or have used my credit card to make a payment to a gay website.

 

That thing on its own give me pause about how my personal information has been used abused. A major PAUSE.

I've been donating for the past three or four years via the AIDS Life Cycle site and {thank goodness} have NOT encountered any difficulty with confidentiality; I've even had my name published each time. Axiom

I have no access to any personal information that has to do with any kind of "at risk information"

including CC number or address info etc.

I only have email address info as far as I know.

 

 

I would suggest you ask AIDSLIFECYCLE about their security features.

 

I think the best way to make an anonymous donation is to send a money order. or use a prepaid CC.

If you want to send a donation to a rider try using paypal and ask the rider to make the donation for you.

 

I hope that helps you feel safe about your personal information.

if there has been a compromise in your information in the past I think you should take all the precautions we all take and change passwords and card numbers etc.

AND most importantly report it right away.

I actually thought it was another friend of mine that made the donation that shares your same first name.
