I wonder how many folk recognize the ball as being from an IBM Selectric typewriter? God, those must have gone away in, what, the 80's?

On a related note: Did you know that IBM named hexademical "hex" even though the terminology they follow for other words is based off of latin (rather than greek)? Six in latin is "sex" and they didn't want to call their new coding scheme "sexadecimal" and went with the greek version "hexadecimal". Now you kn0w!
