I decided to take a break from this job. I let my ads lapse, and haven't had anything up for about a month or so.

 

Couple of weeks ago, someone left me a voicemail. Made reference to my ad on Apollon21. Didn't follow up on it. Now I just got an email, once again referencing my ad on Apollon21. The guy seems pretty legit so far, and I'm considering "coming out of retirement" for a weekend.

 

Here's my question: I searched on here, and found plenty of warnings for clients about using Apollon21. (They steal ads, etc.) But should I have any reason to worry, as an escort, about meeting a client from this website?

How do one know whether the "client" who contacted you through Apollon21 is legit and the inquiry is genuine?

 

The reason I'm asking this is because I've been contacted in the past with fake inquiries from one of these shady operating websites. Their intention was to justify enough "interest" and "business" to keep me there as an advertiser. When you've been around the block a few times, it gets easier to smell the BS. I'm not saying that this is the case with the inquiry you've got through Apollon21, but I see no reason to keep an ad there when you have gold mines like Rentboy and Men4Rentnow.

Oh, I should have been more clear. I never put up anything on Apollon21. It's clearly a case of them stealing my ad from Rentboy.

 

I got an inquiry a few days ago that just ran through the basics of potential meeting. But that really confused me, because as far as I knew, I haven't had any ads up for about a month or so. So I responded back to the guy, asking where he saw me. He said Apollon21.

I get emails from Apollo21 frequently. They take ads from all the sites and publish them. You have to join to get the contact information for a price. They have a very long list and add new ones constantly. I never use them but am curious to see who they list on their site.

You could advertise on other sites:

 

Rentboy, men4rentnow, etc.

 

May I suggest you to always google your client's cellphone before he shows up or you go to see him.

 

There's a site called http://www.badboyreport.com where escorts warn others about: drama, no pay, scams, and of course the typical No-Shows.
