All this reminds me of life in my [public] high school. We had phys. ed. everyday, and in my case, for fifty minutes. For the last three days of wrestling, we had a mini-tournament. I was about 180 in those days - some muscle, and too much fat. [i should have been about 165 on my build.] I got matched with this 185 all muscle 5'10" guy who was out for blood.

 

I managed a takedown and a reverse [? proper names] and so did he, so we were tied, and he was pissed because he couldn't go up the tournament ladder.

 

The part I ESPECIALLY remember is when he had his arm across my throat, choking me. It was until years later, including an MD, with some medication screw-up that I ever saw stars like that again. Nw I know what it means.

I've never wrestled legitimately. Take that as you will... Although, I'd wrestle with my brothers a bunch and then my playmates started getting bigger, hehe. Haven't seen stars like that though... Painful? Sounds like it might be a little.
