Oh, if only the newer version of "Upstairs, Downstairs" had been picked up as a series, we would have seen more of things like this!

It was picked up as a series. It ran for TWO seasons on the BBC and on PBS in the USA. It was canceled by the BBC after that. It's a shame because it just started getting better near the end of Season Two but it was already too late.

People missed the second (much better) season because their DVRs were set to The Good Wife and Revenge, two shows I've never seen which I believe were on the same time on Sundays.

I think most of that was in Season One. Season Two had much better story-telling although the guys were nice-looking but not as hot as Thomas, Jimmy, and Branson on DOWNTON ABBEY!

Gotta get it on the Beeb! Does anyone watch TV in the traditional way anymore? I haven't done that in years.
