Have you seen this already, BC?

 

I'd like to point out something that I thought was pretty striking about what the director did, but I don't want to spoil anyone's experience of the movie.

Probably I should be crediting the editor with this one, maybe not the director.

 

After the snotty lead clobbers his last trick, they don't cut away from the trick. He's left sitting there, the cards on him. He reacts in this long take and it's interesting to see.

 

It's actually a pretty interesting confrontation altogether. It starts around 1:24:00.

The other great thing I remember the director doing was whenever the lead would pick up another trick or hop into bed with someone, the director would frame it in some unique way, not showing the faces, not showing the whole bodies, or something else.
