Face pic, regional differences

Sorry for the confusing title, ha.

 

I was just doing some informal research looking at rentboy profiles in both Chicago and Manhattan. I noticed that most Chicago profiles included a face pic. Most Manhattan profiles didn't.

 

Maybe my specific search (white, young, muscular) was skewing the results, but it was a definite trend I noticed. Has anyone else noticed, and could anyone provide a reason? I would think that a competitive market like NY would have escorts doing everything they could to have a leg-up on the competition, so to speak.

Only a guess, but maybe more of the NYC based Escorts have other career aspirations including theatre, modeling, acting so they prefer to be more anonymous on the escort sites.
