You can get all you want for $7.99 with HuluPlus. And if not, for another $7.99 add Netflix streaming.

You've still got to have an ISP, don't you?

Doesn't it stand to reason the JosephGA already has an ISP? He's very tech savvy.

Although I watch both on my smartphone and tablet via cellular connection.

Just wondering if Comcast is his ISP.

Is is cost effective to watch all your TV & movies via your cell plan?

Time Warner Cable is my ISP, while DirecTV is my TV service. What's your point?

yes, cell data plans can be cost effective.

I was wondering if Comcast (which he is dropping) is Joseph's ISP. You said he could substitute Hulu & Netflix for cable TV, basically. I then asked if accessing those via a cell plan is economically feasible. it was serious question - I only use my cell for voice and don't know if using your cellular connection as the main channel for video entertainment make economic sense.,

Wow! This thread got hijacked BIG TIME!

LOL! Sorry gallahadesquire - for hi-jacking your post and it's one reply. Does an original post and reply really constitute a thread? LOL! I don't know why seeker630 went down the rabbit hole on ISPs, looks like he was reasoning backwards into what he was posting.

Interestingly enough, today I've heard that mass shootings were higher in 1929 and the 1950's than today. So maybe you novella fits right into today's discussions?

Comcast isn't my ISP. I use AT&T for internet I dropped comcast as my ISP last year. I want to drop comcast as my cable company I feel 92.00 amonth is too much. I can get one of those leaf hd antennas for local channels, you can view most bravo, discovery channel and others online. or stream to my play station 3

Apologies for taking the thread off track, but in my defense, my questions were genuine requests for information.
