411 on Street Hustlers in NYC

Feeling adventurous, yet cautious, and was wondering the best spot to pick up street hustlers in NYC. I undrstaand the dangers but that's part of the excitement. Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks.

Had you asked me that question 15 years ago I would have been able to offer you some suggestions. The street hustlers have mostly moved online - Craigslist and adam4adam being the most popular sites that cover this 'genre'. Don't bring these boyz home though, unless if you enjoy being beaten up and robbed. I think there may still be some action going on in porn stores in Chelsea. The other possibility is the port authority terminal near George Washington bridge, in Washington Heights. But the latter option can be quite dangerous and is not for the un-initiated.

 

I wish I could be more cheerful, but the street hustlers in post-Guiliani NYC are mostly a thing of the past. Too bad!

We are now too sophisticated and technological to loiter on the streets. The hustlers have moved indoors and function thru their laptops and IPads. Not as great as seeing theit bulging baskets and needy eyes up close and personal, but hey, thats the world we NOW live in. You can probably score one hanging out and accessing WiFi at Starbucks.

I know someone who is majorly into that,. and he claims to meet several loitering around Port Authority, but i am only repeating what he says> I certainly see the opportunity around the sex shops and booths, once I went into one for a look in the back and got propositioned by a couple of guys for money, but neither of them were my type-am sure you can find what youre looking for there.

Horny, I had thought all those shops around 42nd St were gone, but then I remembered that Jennifer Lopez BF was caught coming out of one, so you may be right....

There are less of them, but there are still a few......

There are very few shops (compared to the pre-Giuliani era) around the Port Authority, and with police more prevalent, it is not as easy to either stand around and look to see what may be a hustler, and then to the "chase" until you both agree to hook up. It was so easy 15-20 years ago. Now, I have occasionally gone by but if there are hustlers there, I never see them.

 

On the peep video stores between 33rd and 42nd street and more or less off 9th Ave., a few seem to have aggressive types of hustlers but you have to paya fee to "go upstairs" to see them hustling, and the creepy South Asians (who seem to run the places now) are obnoxious when they think you may be cruising.

That is exactly right. The rest of it is that the hustle upstairs is often just to take your money and then deliver more or less nothing.

 

One place that is not gay but on the other hand is a place where everybody seems to be on the downlow, one way or another, is Space Billiards on 34th, if memory serves. In after-hours there, I've had much random luck picking up at least 3 of the 4 sexes.

I AGREE The BEST way to find exactly what you're looking for here in the city is to get in Doc's DeLorean and set it for 1979 :-) The cute working guys on the streets (with occasional encrypted ads in The Voice or The Native) are NOW the guys on RB. (not the same ones obviously :-) BUT what's being discussed HERE is the lowest of the low, doing it for Meth money and often Homeless and carrying weapons and god knows what in their body fluids. I BEG you NOT to go that route lol. Go to The Townhouse or something, front room bar and lounge, where there's still hustlers on the hunt in the flesh :-)
