I've just sent out PMs outlining all the events planned to everyone who I believe is attending events over the weekend. If you have not received a PM and are planning on attending the luncheon on Sunday afternoon, please let me know as soon as you can so I can get a final head count to Annie's. As of now, I have 30 guests attending, which is incredible.

Five different events on the schedule, so a lot of chances to meet forum members you never have met, renew acquaintances with friends you have, and a chance for clients and escorts to mingle, and maybe meet someone you never have met before (and might not otherwise have met). I will tell you that there has been subsequent hires after the event both years because of the chance to mingle, so it really is a great opportunity for both clients and escorts alike. Plus this year, you get the chance to meet Daddy, who rarely makes an east coast appearance.

There still is room for more at the luncheon, so if you haven't let me know, please feel free to join us.

Can't wait to see all of you there. It should be a great weekend. The weather looks incredible for DC for January. And the guest list is just amazing.

Lee,

Congratulations on another success. I very much regret that I cannot be there, especially since I could meet Daddy and a few other guys that I would really love to meat... oh, sorry, I meant meet! :) I know that a good time will be had by all, and especially at Dave's FH and a few other venues as well. Now, don't do anything that I wouldn't do! But, as you know, that leaves a lot of room for fun! Maybe next year you can shoot for 50!

Again, greetings to all the clients and escorts who are there. I will miss you all.

You sure will be missed, my friend. It would be great to sit down and catch up on our lives. So much has transpired since we met last. But that will happen soon enough. Just know we will be thinking of you.

Feel to join Daddy as he brings the site back from it's Holiday Hiatus. This is a very informal, sit around while Daddy does his normal publishing routine...

Your allowed to come when you want, leave when you get bored. You can ask questions.

I'm enough of a process geek that this would be right up my alley, were I in DC that weekend.

As a DC denizen and long time member here, I am genuinely sorry that I cannot be with you. I recall attending some HooBoy gatherings back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Unfortunately, I'm a guest at a baptism and brunch that day and skipping out at the last minute and explaining to the parents why I can't be there is just too damn complicated.

I hope everyone has a great time and I can make a future gathering.

Take care all and safe travels to our out-of-town guests.

Sorry you can't make it Richard. You can mark the 2014 edition down as January 20, 2014. But hopefully you could either make it to Secrets on Saturday night or stop by the George and meet Daddy Sunday afternoon or attend karaoke Sunday night. It's one reason I wanted multiple events so people, especially locals, could attend what they were able to.

Okay, the reservations have been updated at Annie's. I told them 30, but it may go up a bit. 12-13 of the guys are escorts. That is how many guests we had at the very first luncheon two years ago. I can't thank everyone enough, especially all those who are traveling, some across country, who will be here. I can assure you it will be a fun time, lots of laughs, and the forming of friendships and relationships that will go long beyond this weekend.

The hall is rented. The orchestra engaged. Now it is time for us to dance.

For all those traveling, be safe, and we look forward to seeing each and everyone one of you this weekend.

No invite needed. Since we're below the Mason Dixon line, it's a "Y'all come" sort of event. Bib blue jeans discouraged.

Looking forward to meeting you. And seeing what Dave has in mind for you later.

Okay, now at 15 escorts. In one place. Any other DC residents want to join this once in a lifetime chance. With guys from Atlanta, NY, SF, Raleigh, Baltimore Las Vegas, DC (and I'm still hoping Connecticut - come on Tristan, we would love you to be there). I'm not sure if there have been this many escorts at one event outside of the Hookies. It's a fun, relaxed time I hope enjoyed by all. It still isn't too late to add your name.

A couple of quick announcements about Sunday's events. First the Daddy's publishing party will be in the George Hotel. It will be in The Gallery, which is the most perfect location I could imagine. A glass enclosed room so we can privately with couches and tables for Daddy's computer. The Gallery is located right off the lobby of the George. As you walk into the George, walk up the steps, straight past the elevator and enter The Gallery.

And one minor correction. My mistake. The karaoke on Sunday starts at 9, not 10. Which is probably better for us old folks. Obviously this is something you can drop in on whenever, you don't have to be there at 9.

Hope to see you all soon. The weather for the weekend is supposed to be incredible.

I know it's still a little early to discuss this but will there be a meetup again this year? My guess based on previous years would be January 18-20th which is a three day weekend in DC.

Yes, there will be the 4th meeting on the dates, but the exact specifics of where and when are still under discussion. But they will be announced in plenty of time.

I'm going to try to make it. It would be fun meeting some of the hoi-polloi from this forum. Plus, I haven't been to the Smithsonian in eons. I need to revisit the Hirshhorn museum, having met Mrs. Hirshhorn too many times.

it's never too early to start planning this - heh heh - or at least blocking dates for it, eh Leigh?

MAL is jan 17-19, 2014. personally, I'm free and available that weekend.

however, I can't do a luncheon on the weekend of the 10th. and from the weekend of january 24th, I'll be out of the country for about 10 days.

gallahadesquire, if this all works out, it would be great to meet you during your trip! let me know if you'd like some accompaniment for going around and around and around (http://www.soulofamerica.com/soagalleries/dc/museum/DC-Hirshhorn_Museum.jpg) the hirshhorn. I'm a big fan of contemporary art, so it's one of my favorite museums in dc.

You're free? Oh, I love that price. lol. I'll take it. Personally, I'm never free, but I am always reasonably priced. :)

I have a few things already planned. Yes, it will be January 18-20th, to go along with MAL weekend. And I can't believe the interest already, both here and in quite a few private communications off the forum. There will be an "official" announcement later, but you can bet the bank that it will be that weekend. And I do have one wild and crazy idea I have no idea if it will come to fruition, but I want to talk to someone about it who might know DC better than I do the next time I see you Dave. Whenever that might be.
