If you're interested in the Mid-Atlantic Leather convention, check out leatherweekend.com. The Hyatt is the host hotel and room rates are in the $150. range. Since we aren't actually participating in the leather weekend, my partner and I are staying at the Hotel George. It's a Kimpton hotel, and is only about a block or so away from the Hyatt -- close enough if we want to wander over, far enough away for some "us" time.

 

The Palomar is probably my favorite in DC. The Rouge is also great. They are both in the Dupont circle area (and Kimpton hotels). Sniqueaway does have a current sale on the Helix, which is another Kimpton, but probably my least favorite Kimpton I've stayed at.

 

So Epigonos, are you planning on attending our little shindig, or just going to DC some other time? Sure would be great to see you again (which I'm sure we will do in PS in March as well).

And guess what, I’m going to offer a tour of The Fuck House again for everyone, after the DC Luncheon. I did this last year and it was fun. expect it to be more, um, colorful - and interactive...

Okay gentlemen. Reservations are in place at Annie's for lunch. Of course, we can always add more so hopefully more of you will be able to make it. Especially those in the DC area. It's a great chance to meet fellow forum members and maybe some escorts you might not get to meet otherwise. Who knows what will come out of that?

 

And as an added event, right now we are planning on going to Cobalt/Level One for karaoke Sunday night, starting at 10 pm. Ace and I will both be joining in and hopefully maybe some others. I know we had a blast last year (both at DC and PS - a great surprise to hear how good Jason Carter was) so hopefully everyone can meet for that as well.

 

Things are shaping up for a great time. I can't wait to see everyone there.

It is a rare event and something that you had better be in the right place and the right time to catch Ace with clothes on, but I have witnessed this miracle myself, but only briefly.

 

But you want to do something even rarer? See him out in public at 7 or 8 AM. Ace really doesn't do AM very well. As those of us who love him know all so well.

 

Seriously Tom -- I'm really looking to meet you there and it should be a VERY memorable gathering. I know of quite a few other people who haven't posted their intentions here, so I'm really excited for this luncheon/weekend to begin. I look forward to seeing you there.

Daddy -- when I heard through a very reliable source yesterday that you would be attending the gathering in dc. I was very happy. I can't wait to see you again. It should be a great time. Now the outstanding question is, will it be Five Five Five again?

 

So there you have it DC area members -- come to the luncheon. Not only will you meet quite a few escorts, many you will not otherwise likely get to see, and in addition you will finally get to meet Daddy. If you are planning on coming, let me know. I already have the reservations at Annie's but it will be no problem to increase that number. Last year, we added quite a few people in the last week or two. Feel to join Daddy as he brings the site back from it's Holiday Hiatus. This is a very informal, sit around while Daddy does his normal publishing routine. It'll probably be at one of the lounge areas in the lobby of the Hotel or I'm open to suggestions. I suspect that you'll be able to get drinks/snacks from the hotel.

 

Your allowed to come when you want, leave when you get bored. You can ask questions. I'll be working on the site

Sunday about 2:30pm to 9:30pm. If all else fails, PM me as email is usually wonky when I'm out and about.

I'm glad Hoover is making it as well. As of now, every person who attended the first one of these things 2 years ago is coming, except 2. Obviously Brandon Michael Williams (who will always hold a special place in my heart for what he did for me) and ArVAGuy. I sure hope he can come as well.

 

As of today, I've got the count at 20 attendees. There's always room for more.
