Matt bomer hired to Save "The New Normal"

Well, that crafty Ryan Murphy wont go down with a sinking ship (although he IS known for "Going down"). With his new gay themed show The New Normal getting VERY mixed reviews (I personally hate it), for those of you still hanging in there, he has cast the gorgeous and delicious Matt bomer to play "annoying pig face's" ex-lover....

 

Well Matt certainly will provide the eye-candy, BUT can he save the show ???? Time will tell.

Well, it's got a full season renewal so saving isn't necessary so far ... except artistically. Bomer won't save the show. And would anyone believe that his "hotness" would date that gay ugly pigface Andrew Rannells?

This is a waste of time for Matt but I suppose he needs to do something to keep busy in between filming for WHITE COLLAR (one of my all-time favorite shows). I saw one episode of "The NEW NORMAL" and had to turn it off. The stereotyping is way over the top and even dated, and while I donot mind watching Justin Bartha, I find Andrew Rannells absolutely too over the top, queeny for my taste (and would not even be interested).

While Bartha is certainly more handsome than Rannells, I find Rannells interesting-looking. Plus, I think the series is trying to show that it's OK not to be masculine. I frankly get tired of seeing gay characters played by straight actors all of the time. And his body ain't half bad, although so far they don't seem to show any skin:

Couldn't agree with you more. I resent that Hollywood is pushing this image of gay men so far. Not every gay man is a mincing, misty-eyed, queen. Well...not ALL the time anyway.
