Yes, under the current rules, the Shuttle posts were in the Lounge as were my responses. The point I guess is that some folks are now suggesting we take politics, or some politics out of the lounge. I'd be happy with that rule although I bet it would be difficult to determine what is a "political" post. Would you?

I guess this is one of those decent and courteous posts that another interlocutor spoke of? As for the substance, I only mock those who try to say with a straight face that we can discuss, the war on terror, Iraq or civil liberties without talking about Israel, or those who think it legitimate to discuss by RC priests but not Jewish rabbis. Funny, how that gets so many of you so hot under the collar!

Agreed, but I still am waiting for the explanation why calling a spade a spade wrt Israeli occupation and torture is hate speach. Are you playing the hate speach card to divert attention from something(s) that embarass you?
