Well at least it didnt help Thomas Jane and his HBO show "HUNG". It got the boot, cancelled....

Even the addition of a hunky, youger escort couldnt save this doomed show.

Personally, I tried watching it but couldnt get into it...

Will you miss HUNG, and why do you think it didnt resonate with viewers ????

During the first season of "HUNG," i viewed it weekly and enjoyed watching the principal male actor work himself out of the dilemmas in which he found himself.

I abhorred his ex-wife and his woman pimp and others who were negative with whom he found himself involved. ...can't figure out why this show did not make

it in Season Two. I know I only watched one episode, and that was by accident. This man cannot keep up with HBO's schedules although I know I can access

via the internet.

Sorry, when I saw the title of the thread, my filthy mind immediately thought "It's not what you got, It's how you use it"

Now, back to the original purpose of the thread.

Well hopefully he will get a "Golden Globe" Win for his efforts! I will miss "Hung"!

Maybe too many Male Viewer's didn't like being reminded of THEIR Shortcumings

Hopefully 'Game of Throne's' will have a New Hunk this Season!

I'm disappointed that "Hung" won't be back for a third season...(I like watching shows I can relate to & this was certainly one of them)...I liked the quirky pimp & thought it was getting interesting when Ray got blown by a tranny..I was hoping they would have gone a little deeper into fetish and/or gay & bi related story lines....Oh well!

NOW, all it leaves is "Gigolos" on Showtime, which requires an adult beverage for me to get through.

for ME, Gigolos is a COMEDY....

I watched most of the first season and enjoyed seeing the main character evolve. But for reasons I don't remember, i never started watching Season 2 - too many others things to watch, I suspect.

Show was unrealistic. To quote Charlie (the African American pimp friend of Tonya) ," Your man ho don't do dudes......" enough said. I have never known a male escort who could make a living doing only women clients. Anyone who thinks he can has left reality and is living in Fantasyland.

That was the third season Ace. I watched the two episodes with Kyla the transsexual and Ray. The second of those two episodes had Thomas Jane and Jamie Clayton doing some fine work together in the class reunion scene. It was quite touching. Congratulations Jamie and Thomas. This last season was grittier indicating a darker side to the business and that Ray would have to expand his client base if the series continued. For me "Gigolos" is too slick and contrived. Happy Holidays to all.

I also liked the series. The acting was great. I have always been a Jane Adams fan and Ann Heche does a great job. Rebecca Kreskoff was hilarious. (As an aside, I always appreciated the fact that the prom king and queen of the local high school marry and their children are slightly over-weight Goth twin teenagers, one of whom is not quite so sure about his sexuality.) I'm not sure what did not catch on with viewers. It was much better than most stuff out there and certainly a lot of HBO stuff. I am going to miss it. As I am Bored to Death.
