New TV Show - American Horror Story - Its the Bomb !!!

For those of you that like scary, creepy, eery, thought provoking shows, check out FX channels new show American Horror Story...

 

Its a brilliant and clever show set in a Haunted house (yes), starring Dylan McDermott, (often nude). The twists and turns will keep you spell bound. It even has a GAY ghost in the form of Zachary Quinto, who is introduced this week....

 

Nothing else like it on TV today. Its a hidden treasure, and will become a guilty pleasure....

i think with this show CRAZY is part of the appeal... I was sucked in from the VERY FIRST scene in the pilot... It is so creative with plots and subplots galore... And this from the guys who bring us GLEE also. What a departure....

Maybe crazy was the wrong word....but if you watched Nip Tuck...after like the second or third season they story line got a bit bizzare and I felt they were just grasping at straws to keep the shock value.

One thing you can say about Ryan Murphy is that he is ALWAYS over the top. And thats what keeps us coming back for more....

This has become my favorite show of the new TV season, though I'm entranced by Pan Am, and have actually been able to watch full episodes of Glee without using the FF button. I agree that Nip Tuck did get too, too convoluted, though I never missed an episode. I also like Breaking Bad and Dexter, which are as equally "awful" as American Horror Story. I'm hoping that Jessica Lange's aged appearance is just for the part, but it's more likely to be true to life. I did think that some of the "gay" comments in the pilot were a little disparaging, but now I think they were more deliberate in an evil way, and part of the developing plot. I always enjoy Dylan McDermott, even when he's on a talk show, which has ruined so many others.

I'm enjoying it.. Jessica Lang is so fucking good! My only hope is that it holds up in quality. As stated above Nip Tuck was a classic the first two years, then damn, it got sooo over the top and the writing was sub-par the last years, but of course I watched. BTW, Sal Mineo's partner is very angry about the scene that showed how Sal was killed and has taken Ryan Murphy to task.

I just wanted to say thanks for recommending and turning me on to this new show. I just finished watching the first three episodes and am totally hooked. My favorite parts of the show: Jessica Lange's hilarious character AND Dylan McDermott's hot naked butt!
