1st Anniversary....(nearly)

Well its been a year-a whole year since i first took the plunge as it were and posted here.

 

Now i warn all that i might go on a bit -SORRY if you dont wanna read on fine,no problem just move along there ok..... :-)

 

11/2/2001-When i first started to post i was a different person-well not different you know -well my life and outlook has changed a hell of a lot and i think this place has gone someway towards that.

 

Also the 9/11 stuff was still uppermost in everybodys mind-mine also in fact it got a whole lot worse over Christmas 2001-some naaaassssssty shit went down and i disappeared for a while-the electric shock therapy went fine and the drugs were gooooooood

amongst the people on this board were some who i hope have become friends i think they know who they are,some are here still,some have moved on but they do not know how much they helped me in times that i though i wouldnt get through.

 

Even the people who didnt like what i posted (hi regulation)i thought were ok and cool different strokes for different folks and all that.

 

In the last year there has been changes-new Boyfriend ,fitness program i'm now fitter than i have been for about 20 years and that is part of the new 'me',before i would not have gone on vacation to Puerto Rico i would not have had my travel bug-the Australia stuff(pencilled in for 2004) i would not have taken the plunge with the new guy in my life ,a year ago if someone 17 years younger than me had hit on me as he did i would have run so fast you would have though i was in training for the Olympics .......

 

Its been a strange old year the start and the spring were strange ,the doctors and therapists the pills and the nightmares the PTSD leftovers but now i am 99% normnal-or as normal as i'm ever gonna get and my life is good-at work and at home a promotion in the offing (more money yippee another lousy 3k a year for 50% more work boo hiss )sorry getting into bitter and twisted mode again i hope everyone else is fine and if not then i hope you can work thru your problems as i did mine and this place with all its characters can be a help if only to escape from the real world for a while and enter this 'cyber' community where those come to hang out and vent their anger or just to goof off

 

Anyway enough of the ramblings roll on Year 2............. :-)
