Fin Fang Foom Can't Figure Out mp3s - HELP!

So, I see on the Drudge Report that Whitney's new album can be downloaded off the web. I go to the website that's mentioned in the article (http://www.mp3delivery.com) but I can't figure out what to do. This page - http://mp3delivery.com/albums.php?page=4 - has three places to download the album. One gives me an error, another says it's reached its limit and the other (the one at the top) made me download something that almost took over my computer. I dumped all the shit it put on my computer.

 

What's the trick?

 

I really wanna hear this cokehead's new album.

I'm no 'puter wizz, but you first need to download an mp3 driver sometimes specific for the download site you will be using--that was probably what "almost took over your computer', since the mp3 download itself is usually pretty fast depending on whether you're modem or dsl/t1 etc.

 

The reason (proabably) you were getting the error message was that the driver was not downloaded first--go back and first download the driver and then the song mpg--it should work.

 

Anymore detail, is beyond my limited knowledge--I can barely do it, let alone explain it. :o

I can't access either website In general there is no trick to downloading a MP3. You create a file to DL to, click the DL link and wham ... then play it using your media player of choice. I prefer Music Match .

 

Without seeing the actual site I cannot explain to you why you're having problems. Though I can answer the one question you had, the site might have hit its bandwidth limit and would not let you DL the song / record at that time.

 

I wonder if the site is owned by the label and being used as a promotional tool for their artists and to offset soem of the illegal DL.

I don't know what the level of your knowledge in downloading MP3s Mr. Foom... but if you use Xolox you'll be amazed at how easy it is... :7

Be sure your antivrus program is up to date! There's a lot of sickos out there. :'(
