Richmond Federal Reserve Bank Flies the Pride Flag.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is flying the Pride flag during the month of June to celebrate their LGBT employees.

They are of course getting flack from the usual cretins: The Family Foundation (like we don't have families) and one of Virginia's biggest dickwads, Rep. Robert Marshall.

I must say that I am both shocked and heartened by this news. I spent a lot of summers with familiy on the outskirts of Richmond and saw a lot of narrow-mindedness. I also went to college nearby and had a number of classmates from there. As with most places, I saw both the best and the worst.
