Palm Springs Photo Shoot This & Next Weekend..

Hey Guys;

I'm heading out to Palm Springs this weekend & next & plan to do a few photo shoots...(at Helios, with the same guy who did Dane Michaels shots)...Any suggestions for "looks?"...

Have ALL the leather packed, a few jocks, etc...just curious as to what works for you guys?

Hi Ace,

Since you asked, for my two cents worth, don't do exclusive leather shots!!!! Mix the leather shots in with other attire, whether it is speedos, jeans, open shirts (non-leather), etc. Having a portfolio of a variety of dress and undress, and not just one "theme" exclusively adds more interest and excitement to the end result!

If were looking at one of you with the sexy long hair, wearing only a white oxford, sleeves rolled up, unbottoned, lips parted, staring at me in the eyes, with a hint of smile........well, I'd have to buy a new keyboard right about now.

Ace -- glad to hear it man. First, thanks for including "the" jacket. It is a piece of work. One suggestion would be to see if you could borrow Romann's sailor outfit

 

Seriously, DD's right. Mix it up. For me, one of the very best shots of Dane was the fully clothed shot of him in the gray sweater and jeans. For me what would work would be a mix of part leather, part Ace - Rockstar, and part "just plain Ace, great guy, normal guy, fun guy, amazing guy just hang with". Not everybody knows the Ace we got to see in PS -- the truly amazing guy just to be with. They are all part of you Ace. If you can show me in your photoshoot half of what you showed me in your Rentmen interview winner, you'll blow the doors off the shoot.

 

And I know you will. You are a rockstar. And rockstars love the paparazzi.

Just another mix it up response. The client base is varied and you picture/advertisment approach should appeal to a broad spectrum. Take some pictures that capture your caring and sensitive side - I know you have one as I saw it first hand in PS.

Ace you are a natural... I have no doubt that you will land some killer pics. All it takes is personality and imagination and buddy, you got it all!!! I look forward to seeing some of the out come when you get them in. Tell Drew hi for me. Best to you!!!!!!!
