Tornados In Raleigh, NC, Anyone heard from....

I'm thinking that with the devastation in NC we need to hear from the guys in the area that they are ok....

I exchanged messages with Ryaan, who tells me he is in London and therfore did not experience the storms. He also said that he has checked with the home base and that his family and friends are ok.

From everything I read in the Raleigh Post-Obsever, it did not get near where either Dane or Ryaan live. Obviously Ryaan is in London and Dane is in NYC so they are both safe.

Well, it's the Raleigh News & Observer , but glad that they & their families were untouched. I live about 20 miles from Raleigh and spent Saturday afternoon glued to the radar display, watching the bands of yellow with the red blobs approach. Fortunately for me, they all veered just north or south before reaching my neighborhood, and while we got some strong winds, there was no damage. It's all so capricious!
